How to deseed a pepper cleanly by cutting around the seed core
Slice around the inside of the pepper from the top to remove the seed core in one piece, keeping seeds off the board.
Remove the stalk/top, set the pepper down, then cut around the seed cluster so it comes out like a single core. This avoids scattering seeds and is faster.
The short version
- Remove seeds as a single core to avoid mess
- Faster than shaking/scraping seeds out
What you need
- chef's knife
- cutting board
