- •1 cup Semolinaalso known as raava or suji
- •.5 cup Green peas(optional)optional, can add carrots too
- •1 Onionchopped
- •2 tbsp Oil
- •2 Green chilies
- •1 tbsp Ur Dalalso known as black gram
- •.25 cup Coriander leaveschopped
- •10 leaves Curry leaves
- •to taste Salt
- •1 tsp Gingerchopped
- •1 tsp Mustard seeds
- •1 tbsp Lemon juiceadd at the end
- •pinch Hingalso known as asafoetida

Roast semolina in a pan on medium heat until toasted but not brown.

Heat oil in another pan and add mustard seeds until they crackle.

Add Ur Dal and fry until browned.

Add green chilies, curry leaves, hing, and ginger. Sauté briefly.

Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

Add green peas and mix well.

Add roasted semolina and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Add boiling water, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until water is absorbed.

Add lemon juice and mix well before serving.
