Ingredients
  • 1 cup Lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Active dried yeastCan use instant yeast or 25g fresh yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oilFor sauce
  • 1 OnionFinely chopped
  • 1 Garlic cloveFinely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon OreganoDried
  • 1 teaspoon BasilDried
  • 400 grams Chopped tomatoesCanned
  • 1/2 teaspoon SaltFor sauce
  • 1 handful Fresh basil leaves(optional)Chopped, optional
  • 2 Pepperoni sticksFor stuffing crust
  • 200 grams Mozzarella cheeseThin strips for stuffing crust
  • 400 grams Mozzarella cheeseGrated for topping
  • 1 Chicken breast(optional)Tikka and lime flavored, optional
  • 1 Onion(optional)Thinly sliced, optional
  • 1 pack Pepperoni slices(optional)For topping, optional
  • 1 handful Baby plum tomatoes(optional)Halved, optional

    Mix lukewarm water with sugar and yeast. Let it activate for 10 minutes.

    Add yeast mixture and vegetable oil to mixer bowl. Mix salt with flour and add to bowl.

    Knead dough for 10 minutes until smooth. Let it proof in a greased bowl for 1 hour.

    Divide dough into three pieces. Form into balls and proof one for 45 minutes.

    Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft. Add herbs, tomatoes, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes.

    Prepare pepperoni sticks and mozzarella strips for stuffing crust.

    Flatten dough into a circle. Place pepperoni and cheese around the edge and fold over to stuff the crust.

    Spread tomato sauce over pizza base. Add toppings: mozzarella, chicken, onions, pepperoni slices, and tomatoes.

    Preheat oven to 230°C (445°F). Bake pizza for 12 minutes.

    Remove from oven, brush crust with garlic and chili oil, and serve.
