  • Spicy Italian sausagesRemove casing
  • 1 Red onionLess acidic than white onion
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Red pepperDiced
  • 2 Garlic clovesCrushed
  • 1 teaspoon PaprikaSmoky flavor
  • RiceSear rice
  • White wineDeglaze pan
  • StockDouble the amount of rice
  • Spring onionsSliced
  • TomatoesDiced
  • Flat leaf parsleyRoughly chopped

    Pierce the sausage casing and remove the meat.

    Heat olive oil in a pan and add diced red onion. Cook for 5-6 minutes until caramelized.

    Add diced red pepper and crushed garlic to the pan.

    Increase the heat and add sausage meat to the pan. Stir quickly.

    Add paprika and rice to the pan. Sear the rice for 30 seconds.

    Pour in white wine to deglaze the pan.

    Add stock, bring to a boil, then simmer for 12-15 minutes.
