Speedy Sponge Pudding
A classic British steamed pudding made quickly in the microwave with golden syrup and vanilla custard.

- •1 teaspoon Baking powderlightly heaped
- •2 teaspoons Ground ginger
- •75 grams Muscovado sugar
- •1 Orange zestzest of 1 orange
- •1 Orange juicejuice of 1 orange
- •150 millilitres Whole milk
- •1-2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- •175 grams Plain flour
- •75 grams Suetanimal or veggie
- •Saltpinch

Grease a pudding mould with butter.

Add golden syrup to the mould, coating the edges.

In a bowl, combine egg, baking powder, ground ginger, muscovado sugar, orange zest, and orange juice.

Add whole milk and vanilla extract to the mixture.

Mix in plain flour and suet to form a batter.
