Trim the woody ends of the asparagus by bending them until they break naturally.

Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat.

Add asparagus to the pan, sprinkle with salt, and sauté until tender.

In another pan, heat oil for frying eggs.

Crack eggs into a ramekin and carefully add to the hot oil.
