Ingredients
  • Roasted vermicellicrushed lightly
  • Milk
  • Sugarto taste
  • Ghee
  • Green cardamom powder
  • Raisins
  • Saffrondissolved in milk
  • Cashew nuts

    Heat ghee in a large vessel.

    Add milk and saffron to dissolve and set aside.

    Lightly crush roasted vermicelli and sauté in ghee.

    Add dry fruits and continue to sauté.

    Gradually add milk to the vermicelli mixture.

    Add sugar to taste and stir continuously to prevent sticking.

    Allow the milk to reduce and thicken the kheer.

    Add dissolved saffron towards the end for flavor.

    Add cardamom powder and turn off the heat.
