Ingredients
  • 1 touch Oil
  • Popcorn kernels
  • Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda

    Add a touch of oil to a pan and heat until it lightly smokes.

    Add popcorn kernels and cover with a lid. Shake the pan occasionally until popping stops.

    In another pan, heat sugar without stirring until it becomes a dark caramel.

    Add a pinch of salt to the caramel.

    Carefully stir in butter into the caramel.

    Add bicarbonate of soda to the caramel and mix well.

    Pour the caramel over the popcorn and mix to coat evenly.
