Add cinnamon, cloves, and green cardamom to the oil.

Add grated onion and sauté until browned.

Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Sauté for 1 minute.

Add fresh tomato puree and salt. Cook until oil separates.
