Ingredients
  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • Saltto taste
  • Oilfor deep frying

    Take 1 cup of whole wheat flour in a bowl and add salt to taste.

    Heat some oil until moderately hot and add it to the flour.

    Mix the hot oil into the flour using a spoon.

    Add room temperature water gradually to form a stiff dough.

    Let the dough rest for 20-25 minutes at room temperature.

    Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a disc without using dry flour.

    Heat oil in a kadai until very hot.

    Fry each puri in the hot oil, pressing lightly to puff, then drain on tissue paper.
