  • 3 and a half cups Pomegranate seedsfrom two large pomegranates
  • 1 cup White sugar

    Cut the pomegranates in half and remove the seeds using a wooden spoon or similar object.

    Remove any membranes from the seeds.

    Pound the pomegranate seeds 50 times with a pestle to crush them slightly.
