Ingredients
  • Pressed ricealso known as poha
  • Onionchopped
  • Peanuts
  • Coriander leaveschopped
  • Oil
  • Asafoetidaalso known as hing
  • Salt
  • Green chiliesslit
  • Curry leaves
  • Turmeric powder
  • Mustard seeds

    Soak the pressed rice (poha) in water briefly and drain immediately.

    Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Wait for them to crackle.

    Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, slit green chilies, and curry leaves to the pan. Mix well.

    Add chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they are slightly soft.

    Add peanuts and mix well.

    Add the soaked poha and salt to the pan. Mix thoroughly.

    Add chopped coriander leaves and mix again.

    Cover the pan and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
