- •1 cup Rice vinegar
- •1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- •1 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
- •2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- •2 Cinnamon sticks
- •2 Bay leaves
- •Chili flakes(optional)to taste

Slice the red onions and set aside.

Measure 1 cup of rice vinegar and pour into a cup.

Add 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of kosher salt to the vinegar.

Heat the mixture until the salt and sugar dissolve.

Place the sliced onions in a jar and add 2 cinnamon sticks and 2 bay leaves.
