  • Almondsthinly sliced
  • Butter
  • 5 Eggs1 whole egg and four egg yolks
  • Granulated sugar
  • Cake flour
  • 1 Lemon zestzest of one whole lemon or about a tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Baking powdera little bit

    Preheat the oven and prepare your baking pan.

    Slice the almonds if not already sliced.

    Whip the eggs to ribbon stage using a stand mixer.

    Mix butter, sugar, and lemon zest until creamy.
