Ingredients
  • 4 Egg whites
  • Caster sugarGradually add until stiff peaks form
  • Ground hazelnutsFold into meringue
  • Chopped hazelnutsFold into meringue and top meringues
  • Dark chocolateMelted for filling and decoration
  • CreamWhipped to soft peaks

    Separate four egg whites and whisk.

    Gradually add caster sugar until the mix forms stiff glossy peaks.

    Gently fold in ground and chopped hazelnuts.

    Spread meringue on baking sheets and top with more chopped hazelnuts.

    Bake for 25 minutes, then turn off the oven and let them cool inside.

    Melt dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water and slightly cool.

    Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks and fold in 3/4 of the melted chocolate.

    Build the tower with alternate layers of chocolate cream and meringue.
