Hot Dog Sausage Rolls

Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F) or gas mark 3.

Dust bench with flour and unroll pastry sheet. Dust pastry with flour.

Divide pastry into four equal pieces.

Prepare egg wash by whisking a medium-sized egg with a dash of milk.

Coat pastry sheet with egg wash, place a hot dog at the front, and roll over. Brush more egg wash and continue rolling.

Place rolled pastry on a lined baking tray and coat with egg wash. Make four or five cuts on each roll.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.

For air fryer, prepare rolls the same way, place in parchment-lined air fryer drawer, and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 12 minutes.
