  • Unsalted butterused to butter/sandwich hot cross buns
  • Hot cross bunssplit and used like bread for pudding
  • Salted sourdough dark chocolate Easter eggbroken into shards and sandwiched between buns
  • Eggsfor eggy custard mix
  • Vanillaadded to eggy mix
  • Nutmegadded to eggy mix

    Split the hot cross buns and spread with unsalted butter.

    Break the salted sourdough dark chocolate Easter egg into shards.

    Sandwich the chocolate shards between the buttered hot cross buns and arrange in a baking pan.

    Make an eggy custard mix with vanilla and nutmeg.
