Warm the milk to about 40°C, ensuring it's warm to the touch but not too hot.

Pour the warm milk into a container suitable for setting yogurt, such as a clay pot or stainless steel container.

Add 1 teaspoon of yogurt to the milk and mix well.

Cover the container and keep it in a warm place, such as a kitchen cabinet or a switched-off microwave, for 6 to 8 hours to set.
