  • Zucchini flowersprepared by removing outer leaves and stamen
  • All-purpose flouror cake flour
  • Carbonated watercold
  • Ice cubes(optional)to keep batter cold
  • Peanut oilor another oil with high smoke point
  • Saltfor seasoning
  • Panko(optional)for Japanese style finish

    Prepare zucchini flowers by removing tough outer leaves and stamen.

    Combine flour with cold carbonated water to make a thin batter. Add ice cubes to keep it cold.

    Heat peanut oil to 340°F (170°C).
