Easy Bolognese Recipe
A classic Bolognese sauce made with beef, vegetables, and a touch of red wine.

- •1 Onionfinely diced
- •1 stalk Celeryfinely diced
- •2 Carrotsfinely diced
- •2 Garlic clovescrushed
- •2 Bay leaves
- •1 sprig Thymegenerous sprig
- •1/4 tube Tomato puree
- •500 ml Red wine(optional)
- •Olive oilfor cooking
- •1 Beef stock pot
- •500-600 ml Water

Finely dice the carrots, celery, and onion. Crush the garlic cloves.

Heat olive oil in a pan and add the diced vegetables and garlic. Cook without coloring to release natural sweetness.

Add minced beef to the pan and cook with vegetables to render fat and evaporate water content.

Add tomato puree and mix well with the meat.

Pour in red wine and let it evaporate completely.

Add water and beef stock pot. Stir to combine.

Add bay leaves and thyme. Let the sauce simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours.
