- •6 ApplesPeeled, cored, and sliced

- •1 Egg wash(optional)For brushing, can use milk instead

Add flour to a food processor or mix by hand.

Add cold butter and pulse until breadcrumb consistency.

Drizzle in beaten egg until dough forms.

Divide dough into two pieces, wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.

Peel, core, and slice apples. Toss in lemon juice.

Melt sugar in a pan, add apples, and cook until softened.
