Ingredients
  • 2 cups Self-raising flour
  • 1 cup Caster sugarCan substitute with granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powderAdd 3 teaspoons if using plain flour
  • 1/2 cup Salted butterCold
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Milk chocolate chipsCan use dark or white chocolate chips
  • 2 EggsLarge
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup MilkMay need an additional 20 ml

    Preheat oven to 180°C (355°F).

    Prepare a muffin tray with 12 muffin cases.

    Sift together self-raising flour, caster sugar, and baking powder into a bowl.

    Rub in cold salted butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

    Sift in cocoa powder and fold into the mixture.

    Add chocolate chips and mix.

    Beat eggs with vanilla extract and add to the mixture.
