- •2 tablespoons Cocoa powderheaping
- •3/4 cup Sugaror more, to taste

- •2 tablespoons Sugarfor syrup
- •1 teaspoon Coffeefor syrup
- •2 bars Chocolate70% cocoa
- •1 1/3 cups Heavy creamfor ganache
- •1 cup Heavy creamfor whipped cream
- •1 tablespoon Sugarfor whipped cream

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder.

Add sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk egg, add cooking oil and milk. Mix well.

Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.

Add hot water in parts, whisking in between.

Grease an 8-inch springform pan and line with parchment paper.

Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.

Make syrup: heat water and sugar until dissolved, add coffee.

Chop chocolate and heat cream. Pour cream over chocolate to make ganache.
