Chocolate Eggs and Bunny Filled with Strawberry Mousse
Hollow chocolate Easter egg and chocolate bunny filled with a quick strawberry mousse made from strawberries, melted strawberry jelly, and softly whipped double cream, then chilled until set.

- •200 g Strawberriesfresh or frozen; hulled
- •Strawberry jellypacket; cut into cubes
- •3 tablespoons Waterto melt the jelly
- •Sugar(optional)to taste, if strawberries aren’t sweet enough

Make filling holes in the chocolate shells: melt a hole in the base of the hollow egg using a piping nozzle warmed in boiling water; for the bunny, make two holes (one for filling and one to let air out). Save the removed chocolate and any loose chocolate from inside the shells for sealing later.

Hull the strawberries, then blend to a pulp.

Cut the strawberry jelly into cubes and microwave with 3 tablespoons water until melted. Mix into the strawberry pulp. Taste and add sugar if needed.

Whip the double cream until very softly whipped.

Fold the strawberry-jelly mixture into the softly whipped cream.

Transfer mousse to a piping bag and fill the chocolate egg and bunny through the holes.

Use the reserved chocolate to seal the holes.
