Ingredients
  • 1 kilo Lean fine mince beef
  • Olive oilFor cooking
  • Cayenne pepper(optional)To taste
  • Cumin(optional)To taste
  • Paprika(optional)To taste
  • Tomato sauceBase sauce
  • 1/2 liters Water
  • Rich beef stock potDissolved in water
  • Kidney beansCanned, washed
  • Fresh chiles(optional)To taste
  • Dark chocolate(optional)Minimum 70% cocoa
  • Fresh coriander(optional)For garnish

    Heat olive oil in a pan and add the mince beef. Cook until the water evaporates and the meat is browned.

    Add cayenne pepper, cumin, and paprika to taste. Stir well.

    Add tomato sauce and 1/2 liters of water with dissolved beef stock pot. Bring to a boil.

    Simmer gently for about 1 hour with a lid on, stirring occasionally.

    Add kidney beans and cook until heated through.

    Stir in fresh chiles, dark chocolate, and fresh coriander just before serving.
