Ingredients
  • 200 grams Mashed potatoDo not add butter
  • Red Leicester cheeseCan substitute with mature cheddar
  • 1 small OnionChopped very fine
  • SaltTo taste
  • White pepperA couple of shakes
  • 1 EggBeaten for egg wash
  • 1 sheet Puff pastryReady-made
Instructions

    Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F).

    Mix mashed potato, cheese, onion, salt, and white pepper.

    Divide mixture into four equal parts.

    Divide puff pastry sheet into four equal strips.

    Shape filling into rectangles and place on pastry.

    Brush edges with egg wash, fold pastry, and seal edges.

    Transfer to baking sheet and apply egg wash on top.
