  • Beef
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Cheese(optional)Optional, for topping
  • 1 stick Celery
  • 1 Carrot
  • Beef stock
  • Gravy granulesFor thickening
  • 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • Frozen peas
  • SaltTo taste
  • Black pepperTo taste
  • Hash brownsFor topping

    Brown the beef in a pan over high heat for a few minutes.

    Add chopped onion, celery, and carrot. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

    Add garlic, bay leaf, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds.

    Add beef stock and Worcester sauce. Simmer for 30-40 minutes.

    Remove bay leaf, add gravy granules to thicken, and adjust seasoning.

    Add frozen peas and transfer mixture to a pie dish.
