Ingredients
  • Ladyfingersgreen, tender, chopped
  • Onion(optional)chopped
  • Green chilliescut into bigger pieces
  • Oil
  • Coriander powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Cumin seeds
  • Dry mango powderalso known as amchur
  • Salt

    Wash and dry the ladyfingers thoroughly to remove stickiness.

    Chop the ladyfingers into small pieces.

    Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Sauté until they darken.

    Add chopped green chillies and turmeric powder. Sauté briefly.

    Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.

    Add the chopped ladyfingers and salt. Mix well.

    Add coriander powder and dry mango powder. Mix thoroughly.

    Cover and cook on low heat until the ladyfingers are tender and dry.
