Ingredients
  • 525 g Flour
  • 390 ml WaterUse bottled or filtered water if possible
  • 1 teaspoon Salt7-8 grams
  • 1/2 teaspoon Instant dried yeastCan use active dried yeast or 10g fresh yeast dissolved in water

    Mix flour and salt in a bowl.

    Add dry yeast and mix.

    Add water and mix into a sticky mass.

    Cover the bowl and let rise for 45 minutes.

    Scrape dough onto a wet surface and fold several times.

    Return dough to bowl and let rise for 1 hour.

    Divide dough into 6 pieces, pre-shape, and let rest for 20 minutes.

    Shape dough into baguettes and place on a floured cloth.
