Apple Crumble

- •720 g Granny Smith applespeeled and diced

- •Oatsporridge or quick oats
- •1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon/

Zest and juice a large lemon. Set aside.

Peel and dice 720g of Granny Smith apples. Toss them in lemon juice to prevent browning.

In a large bowl, combine flour, soft brown light sugar, oats, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.

Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and rub together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F).

In a hot non-stick pan, melt sugar until golden brown. Add apples and cook for 2 minutes.

Add lemon zest, cinnamon, and butter to the apples. Cook for 3-4 minutes until a sauce forms.

Pour the cooked apples into a baking dish. Top with crumble mixture and gently compress.
