Ingredients
  • 2 big Potatoesboiled
  • Onionssliced
  • Oil/
  • Cumin seeds/
  • Mustard seeds/
  • Turmeric powder/
  • Curry leaves/
  • Green chillies/
  • Saltto taste
  • Fresh coriander leaveschopped
  • Lemon juice/
  • Asafoetida/

    Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker for about 10-15 minutes or until 3 whistles are given out. Let the pressure settle before opening.

    Heat oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds and wait for them to crackle.

    Add cumin seeds and let them turn brown.

    Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, curry leaves, and green chillies. Mix lightly.

    Add sliced onions and sauté until soft and transparent.

    Cut the boiled potatoes into dices and add them to the wok.

    Add salt and a little fresh coriander. Mix well.

    Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.

    Lightly crush the potatoes, add lemon juice and more fresh coriander. Mix and serve.
