Ingredients
  • 1 kilo Chicken thighswith skin on
  • 30 Garlic clovesunpeeled
  • 1 glass White winedry, Sauvignon Blanc
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Butterwith a bit of oil for cooking
  • Cognac
  • Parsleyfresh, for garnish

    Brown chicken thighs in oil and butter, skin side down, until colored.

    Add garlic cloves to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat.

    Add cognac and flambe, then cook for another 10 minutes.

    Remove chicken, deglaze pan with white wine, and reduce sauce.

    Return chicken to the pan, simmer for another 10 minutes until tender.
